Erika De La Castro
Relational Therapy
Hi! My name is Erika, a marriage and family therapist located in Louisville, Colorado.
I specialize in helping couples navigate their toughest seasons, guiding men to transform vulnerability into a core strength, and supporting women as they thrive with ADHD. My approach blends immediate, practical relief with the deep work necessary to heal old wounds at their source. Together, we’ll move past the surface to create lasting, meaningful change.

Couples Therapy
Are you and your partner caught in a constant loop of circular arguments, perhaps complicated by the unique challenges of ADHD? When neurodivergence is in the mix, relationships can easily slip into frustrating parent-child dynamics, chore wars, or deep feelings of being misunderstood. We will work together to look past the surface-level bickering and uncover the underlying needs beneath the conflict. By learning how your brains uniquely process communication and connection, you can move away from defensive patterns, de-escalate the tension, and rediscover the friendship and intimacy that brought you together.
WOmen/Girls diagnosed with adhd
I help women and girls (age 14+) accept, understand, and thrive with an ADHD diagnosis. ADHD has so much stigma and is widely misunderstood and often missed in females. Many women spend years 'masking' their symptoms, privately struggling with executive dysfunction, sensory overload, or rejection sensitivity. I am passionate about helping women better understand themselves and how to prosper in the world around them. In therapy, we will seek out your strengths, learn to cope with your difficulties, and create habits that help you flourish in your every day life.
Vulnerability in men
Are you someone who feels like you have to carry every burden in silence, keeping your true thoughts tucked away to maintain a "strong" exterior? Maybe you feel like you always have to be the practical problem-solver or the provider, leaving you stuck in your own head and running on empty. We work together to dismantle the pressure of perfection, using practical tools to help you identify and express emotions without feeling overwhelmed or exposed. By turning vulnerability into a skill rather than a risk, you can bridge the gap between you and the people you love while building a more authentic, resilient life.
Frequently asked questions
WHAT DOES THE FIRST THERAPY SESSION LOOK LIKE?
Before our first session, I will send you some paperwork to fill out to give me a better idea of what you are needing from me. This helps me prepare for our first session! In the first session, I will ask you lots of questions to make sure I really understand who you are and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. There will also be time at the end of the session for you to ask me questions!
HOW LONG DOES THERAPY TAKE?
Because every individual and relationship is unique, there is no one-size-fits-all timeline. Some clients find a few months of Solution-Focused work gives them the tools they need, while others benefit from longer-term, deeper exploration.
To maintain momentum and prevent sessions from turning into just a "weekly recap," I recommend meeting weekly or bi-weekly. Together, we will set clear goals and check in frequently on your progress. Once you have achieved those goals, you get to "graduate" from therapy!
WHO DO YOU TREAT?
While I welcome a diverse range of clients, my practice specializes in:
Couples & Relationships: Helping partners navigate communication breakdowns, intimacy issues, and the aftermath of an affair.
Neurodivergent Individuals: Partnering with women and teen girls (ages 14+) who are learning to accept, understand, and thrive with an ADHD diagnosis.
ADHD in Relationships: Supporting couples where one or both partners have ADHD to break frustrating cycles and build mutual empathy.
If you don't fall perfectly into these categories, please still reach out! If we aren't the right fit, I will gladly connect you with a trusted colleague who specializes in exactly what you need.
WHERE DO YOU OFFER SESSIONS?
In-Person: My office is located in downtown Louisville, CO. It’s a warm, inviting space inside a beautifully renovated historic house (and conveniently located right next to an amazing bakery for an after-session treat!).
Virtual: I also offer secure, convenient online therapy (telehealth) for individuals and couples living anywhere in the state of Colorado.
WHAT IF I’M SCARED TO START THERAPY?
Honestly? Almost everyone is! I’m a therapist, and even I get nervous when I start seeing a new therapist of my own. Let’s face it—therapy can feel a little weird at first. You are sitting down to share your innermost thoughts with someone you just met. It makes total sense to feel uneasy.
It might feel a little awkward for the first session or two, but my goal is to make the space feel safe, non-judgmental, and real. If you’re nervous, tell me! We can chat (and laugh) about it, and pace things exactly how you need.
